I'm still pregnant. (T_T)
Started having contractions every 10 minutes last night around 11, and we went to the hospital at 2am... but I was only dilated 1.5 cm. This was unchanged by 8am, so they sent us home. Just better to relax and eat and sleep that way (as if sleeping is possible when having regular contractions), not to mention cheaper, but it was such a letdown to have to walk out of there baby-less. The midwife said that some women are in early labour like this for THREE DAYS.Somebody had better shoot me if that happens...
I was pretty crushed at first, but everybody's been working at keeping up my spirits, and I'm getting used to the regular doses of pain. My husband looks a lot better after getting some proper sleep, and I'm a lot better at breathing and staying relaxed through the contractions now. We're going to go for a walk later to try to speed things along, and now we know when to try to check in again: when the pain is three times as bad as now (even if contractions are still 10 minutes apart) or if the interval shortens to every 6 minutes.
*Sigh* Just wanted to keep you guys updated.

Yeah, that whole loooong beginning labor is why I asked my doctor to put me on pitocin to speed things up with Anakin. O_O I'd only been having regular contractions for about twelve hours--they told me my contractions were every eight minutes, but I didn't want it to go so slowly, LOL. I totally understand where you're coming from.
I don't know what your hospital's policies are like, but just make sure you DRINK WATER if you're thirsty before you actually go into the hospital. I know when I was in labor, they wouldn't let me have anything to drink (something about people throwing up?). It may have been because I had an IV and was on pitocin, or it may have just been in general; I don't remember. I do remember that I was SO THIRSTY and they'd only let me suck on ice chips or a popsicle.
Here's hoping you don't have to hang in there much longer!!

It'll be okay--we're behind you one hundred percent! Just be calm and patient, even if it's a hard thing to do. Don't panic your body, okay?
We all love you and wish you a happy, screaming and wailing beautiful baby and that it all goes well.
We're all so happy for you! *cries* My NRG!
